How To Draw Big Ben - Step-by-Step Guide

    Big Ben is one of the most famous towers in London. The tower can attract people's attention because it has a clock and unique architecture. If you are one of the people who likes Big Ben, then you won't want to miss this article.

Tools I Used:

• Paper size: A5 (148 x 210 mm)
• Drawing pen: 0.1
• Pencil: B
• Rulers: straight ruler (20 cm) and shape ruler
• Eraser

Step 1 - Making Basic Lines

    Draw straight lines 6.5 cm vertically. Divide the two lines into two rectangles by making two straight lines horizontally. Add line above it 1.5 cm in a rectangular shape to create an area for the clock. Add 1 cm line above it. Manually, create a shape like a triangle without ends. Draw line 1.5 cm above it. Make a triangle shape for the very tip of the tower. Draw straight lines vertically in each section.

Step 2 - Detailing

    Start detailing from top to bottom of the building. For the very tip of the tower, draw shapes such as flowers and leaves. Add small triangles between the vertical lines. Add two poles for the right and left sides.

    Draw straight lines at the bottom of the triangle and add some details to the part.

    For the triangle without ends, add square and box shapes between the vertical lines. Add two poles for each right and left side. 

    For the rectangle below the triangle without ends, add rectangular and triangular shapes between the vertical lines.

    For the clock area, make a circle with the numbers and clock hands using a shape ruler or manually. Draw 4 small circles at each end of the clock and add some details. 

    For the two rectangles, add some elongated shapes with sharp tips at one end.

Step 3 - Making The Final Lines

    Thick the lines using a 0.1 drawing pen. Shade several objects in each section.
